Merchandiser – Leeds in the Swinnow Rd, Horsforth, Yeadon, Morley and Harehills areas

Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)
Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility
Plus: Location Allowance if applicable
Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.
We offer an average of 5-20 hours per week (not guaranteed)

Contract Type: Flexible, part-time (zero-hour)
Working Days:

  • Mondays (including Bank Holidays)
  • Thursdays (selected stores)
    Deadline for Calls: All calls to be completed before 12:00pm

About the Role

As a Books Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring in-store book displays are visually appealing, fully stocked, and aligned to client expectations. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and strong communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Replenishment & Display: Move stock from the warehouse to the shop floor, organise shelves, and ensure products are fully replenished and presented to a high standard.
  • Planogram Compliance: Accurately implement planograms and visual briefs to ensure all displays meet required layouts and standards.
  • Promotional Execution: Set up promotional materials, price labels, and point-of-sale (POS) displays to support campaigns and drive sales.
  • Reporting & Communication: Use a company device or mobile app to access briefs, record activity, upload photos, and provide feedback to client teams.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive working relationships with store managers and colleagues to ensure smooth and effective in-store activity.

About You

Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential. More importantly, you will be:

  • Friendly, confident, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude
  • A strong communicator with high integrity and reliability
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service
  • Based within 15 miles of the advertised area
