About Us
Jules B is a well-loved multi-brand fashion and jewellery retailer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, offering our customers a carefully curated edit of premium and luxury designer brands. We're looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team on a full-time, permanent, in-house basis, playing a key role in how we buy, trade, and grow.
The Role
As Merchandiser, you'll own the full merchandising cycle for your area of business from - Open-to-Buy and financial planning through to critical path management, weekly trading analysis, markdown strategy, and range planning. You'll work closely with our Managing Directors on buying decisions, turning data into clear commercial recommendations and making sure we buy well, manage stock effectively, and trade profitably.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys ownership and wants to make a genuine commercial difference. Based at our Newcastle upon Tyne Head Office, with hybrid working considered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
