About the Role
We’re seeking a Merchandising Administration Assistant to join our dynamic Merchandising team. This role is perfect for those with an analytical mind, an interest in Fashion and Retail, and a passion for progress.
You’ll join a merchandising and buying team, gaining essential commercial and logical skills to build your future as a Merchandiser.
Key Responsibilities
As Merchandising Administration Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinate daily team communications to ensure the critical business path runs smoothly.
- Maintain and produce departmental, brand analysis, and sales reports weekly (using Excel and Business Objects).
- Monitor and analyse deliveries to guarantee business needs are consistently met.
- Track, amend, and chase orders to uphold accurate delivery schedules.
- Provide additional administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.
- Stay aware of current brand and business challenges, offering creative problem-solving solutions.
- Manage and allocate deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely allocation completion.
- Lead process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the team.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience in Merchandising Administration Assistant, ideally within Fashion Retail.
- Proven ability to manage and allocate high volumes of deliveries.
- Experience working with large numbers of SKUs.
- Hands-on experience with suppliers, including problem-solving and solution-focused decision-making.
- Strong time management and organisation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communications skills, able to engage clearly across all levels.
- A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with enthusiasm for career growth.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Excellent PC skills, particularly with data accuracy and Excel.
- Capable of clear, confident communication to build strong relationships.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to mentor and assist junior team members.
