Job Description

Join ASOS as a Merchandising Assistant and kick start your career in fashion retail! This is the perfect entry point for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in one of the most exciting areas of the business. You will play a key role in supporting the Merchandising team to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time, helping us deliver the best experience for our customers.

This role is hands on and fast paced. You will work with large volumes of data, learn multiple systems, and develop a sharp eye for detail. It’s admin heavy, but every task you complete contributes to the bigger picture of driving sales and shaping our product offering. You will need to be organised, adaptable, and ready to tackle changing priorities head on.

The Details

  • Maintain accurate product and stock data across systems (data entry, updating spreadsheets).
  • Raise and track purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for delivery updates.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag issues (e.g., delays, shortages).
  • Prepare reports and presentations (sales summaries, stock updates) for team meetings.
  • Support promotional and markdown activities by updating systems and checking accuracy.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and meeting preparation.
  • Collaborate with Buyers and Merchandisers to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
