About the Role

We believe anyone can improve their home to make life better. From our Southampton Store Support Office (SSO), we empower our stores, teams, and customers with the resources needed to create a home they’ll love.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Category Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser in developing a strategy that enhances customer satisfaction by gathering trading updates, reports, and insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Managing the Management Information Suite, including sales performance, forecasts, and margin reporting, while identifying risks and suggesting actionable solutions to improve cross-channel sales.
  • Collaborating with the buying team on projects such as range reviews and promotions, planning and executing meetings, and tracking milestones.
  • Working with Supply Chain to ensure stock levels remain optimal within budget.
  • Executing the trading plan by ensuring campaigns are timely and complete, escalating risks to stakeholders when necessary.
  • Planning and implementing stock exit strategies across all channels to minimise write-offs.

  • Conducting regular store and competitor visits to stay ahead of market trends and opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
