About The Team
Our UK TMT Sector Team sits across all service lines of Forvis Mazars in the UK that are focused on delivering services to our TMT clients - ensuring Forvis Mazars has the right teams, tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service.
This role is critical in supporting the new TMT UK Sector Leader to deliver a successful TMT Sector for the firm and the necessary business change to achieve that. The purpose is to ensure all TMT teams across the UK (and globally) work collaboratively, efficiently and seamlessly together to ensure clients are being delivered with all the TMT support they require while also ensuring the firm works together to grow the sector as required.
About The Role
As a Mergers & Acquisitions Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for further developing the M&A service line within Forvis Mazars through the delivery of a high-quality service across a range of clients, including advising on disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings and management buyouts.

The work will mainly focus on privately owned businesses in the mid-market sector with an enterprise value of up to £100m.
- Researching and preparing for new deal opportunities and pitches.
- Preparing transaction documentation – business plans, information memoranda and financial forecasts.
- Researching and approaching potential buyers / sellers for clients.
- Project managing aspects of larger transactions and project managing, in full, smaller ones.
- Supporting the team in marketing activity as well as building your own market profile.
- Build strong working relationships with the client, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly.
- Show vision and a strategic perspective and focus on the achievement of longer-term goals.
- Maintaining control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with.
- Making confident and clear presentations of service features and benefits to clients.
- Ensuring that the services provided are genuinely appropriate for the client.
- Identifying, analysing and supporting in pursuing opportunities and prospects for new work.
- Assessing and producing high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For
- Qualified to ACA level (or equivalent).
- Previous M&A experience is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop strong client relationships.
- Financial modelling skills.
- Desire to help grow and develop the department.
- Ability to develop new initiatives and methodologies.
- Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and application of commercial acumen in all situations.
- Ability to express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and written communication.
- Ability to develop self and others.
- Strong project management and research skills.
- Actively seeks to enhance expertise and knowledge.
