Mergers & Acquisitions Growth Leader
Senior Manager, Transactional Risk (M&A) – London
The successful candidate will have responsibility for coordinating, growing and building the Transactional Risk business within the M&A team, with a specific focus on nurturing law firm relationships.
You will provide directional management and hold financial and operational accountability, ensuring alignment with Group standards.
You will identify, manage, and develop client, insurer, and team relationships, while also converting prospects.
The Role

Strategy & planning
- Facilitates holistic, collaborative processes to define well-articulated and prioritised medium- to long-term goals for M&A proposition building and strategy execution.

Execution & placement
- Focuses on growing WTW’s M&A capability by ensuring high-standard execution and advice.
- Optimises revenue from both new and existing clients through full leverage of placement channels and global markets.
- Delivers specialised Transactional Risk solutions under tight deadlines.

- Leads preparation of regular/periodic updates, reports, and analyses to inform decision-making for:
- M&A leadership
- Finex Group
- Brokerage and Corporate Risk teams

Client relationship management
- Deep understanding of client business structure, operational needs, and insurance requirements.
- Identifies and builds relationships with key decision-makers and budget holders within client organisations.

Insurer relationships
- Develops and maintains robust relationships with underwriters and insurers in London and international markets to enhance market positioning and risk solutions.
