M&A Director

Are you looking to join one of the UK’s leading national corporate finance teams during an exciting period of expansion?

Our client, a highly respected National Firm of Chartered Accountants, is continuing to invest heavily in its Manchester based Lead Advisory Corporate Finance team and is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance professional at Associate Director or Director level.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in a growing and ambitious team, working on a broad range of high-profile transactions while developing your own market presence and long-term career prospects.

The role will involve taking day-to-day responsibility for transactions while working closely with Partners on business development initiatives, pitching for new mandates, and building strong relationships across the Manchester corporate finance market. Over time, you will establish both your own profile and that of the firm within the wider finance and investment community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
