Position: Supervisor Nights - Leytonstone Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Rate: £13.45 - £14.95 per hour Night Rate: £14.95 per hour between 23:00 and 06:00 At MERKUR Slots we are passionate about our customers, we just love giving them a warm welcome. We have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our wonderful venue teams. We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and has a passion for providing first-class service. You must be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team. Who Are Merkur? About you: Working as a Supervisor some of your main duties will include supporting and mentoring our fantastic Team Members, ensuring targets are achieved and maintaining morale and productivity. Industry and compliance training will be given. Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the gaming, retail, hospitality, or similar industry Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Experience with leading and mentoring others Ability to be flexible and adaptable Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if your venue is a 24-hour operation) A willingness to learn and develop Benefits: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Quarterly Bonus Scheme Excellent Career Progression Opportunities Contributory Pension Scheme Life Assurance Discounts with high street retailers and restaurants through our benefits portal Employee assistance programme Duties include but not limited to: To take full responsibility for the opening, trading and closure of the venue. Assisting the venue manager in the day-to-day activities of the venue Through regular inspection, ensure that interior/exterior standards are maintained at a high level and that all housekeeping standards are adhered to. Establish and maintain customer service standards on behalf of the Company and maximise income wherever possible To implement appropriate marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue opportunities. To assist the senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue. To ensure venue cash collections are carried out in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with Company procedures. To ensure that all Company security procedures are adhered to by all employees. To conduct regular, random checks of floats, keys etc on all employees, taking appropriate action where necessary. To always ensure the safety of all employees together with the members of the public visiting the venue. Ensure that all daily/weekly/periodical administration is completed at the correct time and to the required standard. To deal with the day-to-day problems arising from employees within the venue. To ensure a good working environment is established To promote the company in a positive manner when dealing with internal and external customers or at any other opportunity. To actively manage and promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
