- Hours per week: 40
- Pay rate: £13.25 - £14.75 per hour
- Night rate: £14.75 per hour (between 23:00 and 06:00)

About the Role
Key Responsibilities

- Maintaining venue standards: Keeping the venue tidy through housekeeping duties, including cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Customer service excellence: Monitoring customer behaviour, offering service rounds and refreshments per brand guidelines, and delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Assisting with operations: Handling administrative tasks with 100% accuracy, supporting promotions, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Promoting compliance: Reporting suspicious or disruptive behaviour, handling escalations per the complaints policy, and logging all customer interactions.
- Brand representation: Adhering to the dress code and maintaining high standards in personal presentation.
- Product knowledge: Supporting customers and enhancing their experience through confident product understanding.
- Policy adherence: Undergoing safeguarding and anti-discrimination training, actively discouraging unacceptable behaviour in line with MERKUR’s strict policies.
Requirements
We’re looking for a flexible, personable team player who enjoys engaging with customers and delivering outstanding service. As a Team Member, you should:
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be flexible in scheduling, willing to work weekends, Bank Holidays, and night shifts.
- Work independently and collaboratively, supporting team objectives.
- Have experience in retail, hospitality, or gaming.
- Show commitment to providing top-tier customer service.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Possess attention to detail and professionalism.
