About the Company
We are seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing MES solutions to support efficient production processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, data management skills, and familiarity with electronics manufacturing workflows.
About the Role
This role involves key responsibilities related to the implementation and optimization of MES solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing development of MES (Opcenter).
- Translate multilevel assemblies processes into clear, optimized MES workflows.
- Ensure the MES supports full traceability, serialization, defect capture, quality checks, and data collection.
- Collaborate with Engineering & Operations to align work centres, cycle times, capacity planning, and standard work within MES.
- Troubleshoot MES issues, analyse system logs, and provide support to production teams.
- Work closely with Quality Engineering to embed PFMEA, control plans, and inspection steps within MES.
- Develop training documentation and deliver MES training to end-users.
- Participate in digital-transformation projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing defects.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Experience working with MES.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in electronics and multilevel builds.
- Background in Industrial Engineering with experience developing process flows, routings, and creating standard work.
- Experience supporting quality systems in an electronics environment.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, BOM/BOO structures, and engineering changes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
- SQL skills, scripting knowledge, equipment integration (IPC‑CFX, Hermes), and ERP.
- Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production setting.
