On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for an MES Project Manager to join a project for a large European pharmaceutical company.

This role offers a flexible hybrid model, requiring you to be on-site 1–2 days a week at the office in Chester (near Liverpool).

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise IT projects (e.g., cloud migrations, ERP rollouts, network upgrades).
  • Strong working knowledge of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, APM, or Agile/Scrum) — formal certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Pharma Manufacturing business processes.
  • Good MES domain knowledge or hands-on experience with an MES application is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, managing third-party vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in handling project dependencies, eliminating blockers, and driving change management.
