Role Description
The Met Technician role at Accident Repair Hub is a full-time, on-site position based in Farnham. The Met Technician will be responsible for stripping, refitting, and aligning mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles following accident damage. Typical duties include:

- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues
- Ensuring accurate fitment of panels and trim
- Working closely with bodyshop and paint technicians to coordinate repairs

The role involves following repair methods and safety standards, documenting work carried out, and using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment. The Met Technician will also:
- Communicate clearly with the team
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Contribute to a high-quality, customer-focused repair service
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience working on vehicle systems and components.
- Demonstrated ability to strip, refit, and align trim, panels, and interior components to manufacturer standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and accurately.
- Solid understanding of vehicle repair methods, safety procedures, and quality control practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a busy bodyshop environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail, including accurate documentation of work completed.
- Relevant automotive or bodyshop qualification (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent) or substantial comparable experience.
- Previous experience in a bodyshop, accident repair center, or similar setting is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to health and safety, continuous learning, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
