MET Technician – Southport
Position Overview
Location: Southport Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits
The Vella Group is a well-established accident repair specialist with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to assisting customers in restoring their vehicles after an accident. Core Duties and Responsibilities
As an MET Technician, you will:
- Strip and rebuild mechanical, electrical, and trim components of a customer’s vehicle to the highest industry standards.
- Carry out four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments, using manufacturer and industry-recognised repair methods.
- Maintain vehicle safety and protection throughout the repair process by adhering to appropriate equipment use.
- Collaborate closely with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and the Production Team to ensure smooth and efficient vehicle repairs.
- Comply with company policies, health, and safety regulations, including Covid-19 guidelines, PPE requirements, and COSHH protocols.
- Work with electric vehicles (essential).

About You
Key Requirements:
- Ideally: IMI or ATA qualified MET Technician with strong bodyshop experience.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to quality service.
- A team-player who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Committed to excellent customer service.
- Preferably holds a full UK driving licence.
