Meta Ads Creative Editor
Butter & Crust is a fast-growing weekend breakfast subscription business. We deliver fresh sourdough, pastries and breakfast extras to customers’ doorsteps before 9am every weekend.
We’re hiring a hands-on Paid Performance Creative Editor to help us make better Meta ads, faster. 📈🥐
We’re growing through paid advertising and want to get much sharper with the creative going into the account. This role is about turning real product stories, customer moments, founder ideas, London food culture, reviews and AI-assisted creative into ads that people actually stop for, understand and act on. 🎥⚡
This is not a “post nice things on Instagram” role. It is also not a pure video editing role.
It’s a paid social creative role. You’ll be making short-form videos, statics, carousels, UGC-style edits and AI-assisted ad concepts for Meta, Instagram and TikTok, then using performance data to decide what to make next.
We care about hooks, angles, speed, volume and learning. We would rather have 10 good, testable ads than one polished brand film.
You’ll own creative production for paid social, including:
- Editing short-form Meta ads from founder footage, product clips, customer content and UGC-style material 🎬
- Creating simple, effective static ads, carousels and product-led creatives
- Writing and testing hooks, headlines, captions, overlays and ad copy ✍️
- Turning customer reviews, testimonials, product benefits and objections into strong ad concepts
- Thinking in paid social angles: first order offer, bakery run, before 9am delivery, weekend ritual, customer proof, subscription reassurance and reasons to buy
- Repurposing existing assets into multiple hooks, openings, formats and iterations
- Creating variations from winning ads rather than constantly starting from scratch
- Using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Higgsfield, Runway, Midjourney, Kling, Magnific, Photoshop AI, Canva and CapCut to move faster and create more variations 🤖
- Building AI-assisted workflows for concepting, storyboarding, scripting, image generation, video generation and creative testing
- Planning small content shoots, shot lists and founder/customer content prompts when needed
- Building a library of hooks, angles, testimonials, product claims, objections and reusable assets
- Working closely with the media buyer to understand what is performing, what is fatiguing, and what to make next 📊

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Understanding why people buy, not just what looks good
