Location: Scunthorpe, DN16
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm (36.5 hrs per week)
** Salem:** £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (£16.00 – £18.00/hr) Contract: Permanent (after initial 3 month probation via agency)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Metallurgy Technologist to join our Materials team within a leading local employer.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting metallurgical testing and analysis of metal products
- Meeting tight customer deadlines
- Efficient process management to ensure on-time testing and release
- Problem-solving and technical investigations

What We’re Looking For
- A strong background in materials science or metallurgy
- Prior experience working under ISO 9001 / ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma techniques
- A valid UK driving licence
