We are partnered with a leading prop trader in growing out their metals trading business across London, Singapore & China
Key Responsibilities
- Trade and manage proprietary risk across base metals derivatives, including futures, options, and OTC products.
- Develop and execute discretionary and/or systematic trading strategies.
- Identify trading opportunities through fundamental, macro, and technical market analysis.
- Manage positions within defined risk limits to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, and risk teams to drive trading performance.

Requirements

- 6+ years' experience taking proprietary or principal risk in base metals derivatives.
- Proven track record of profitable trading performance.
- Strong knowledge of global base metals markets, including LME and CME products; experience trading or analyzing SHFE markets is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of market structure, risk management, and derivatives trading.
- Experience within a proprietary trading firm, commodity trading house, investment bank, or hedge fund is preferred.
