At the Green Energy Advice Bureau (GEAB), we are passionate about driving the transition to a more sustainable future.

As a leading consultancy in the renewable energy sector, we empower customers to navigate the energy market to implement eco-friendly strategies.

To help us achieve this, our team at Pulse Controls is dedicated to transforming the way businesses engage with energy, and we are now seeking a motivated and ambitious Metering Electrician to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified electrician, or an experienced electrician looking to progress into a more senior role, to develop their career within a specialist and rapidly evolving sector.

You will play a key role in ensuring electrical and metering installations are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest technical standards. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of operational processes, procedures, and health & safety initiatives, whilst building your technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

This role offers a clear pathway into a senior, influential position, combining hands-on electrical work with increasing responsibility for technical oversight, continuous improvement, and supporting the future growth of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
