Metering Team Leader
Demand Management & Network Infrastructure Role

A standout member of our meticulously aligned Demand Management and Network Infrastructure Team, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the water supply, bolstering environmental performance, and managing demands for generations to come. With 140 years of combined expertise in engineering and infrastructure, we provide advanced metering solutions while upholding the highest water quality and environmental standards.
An essential role exists to guarantee infrastructure services for life, and now presents an opportunity to contribute!
Responsibilities
You’ll execute critical responsibilities across infrastructure safety and maintenance:

Ensure compliance
- Undertake all related activities/works safely, strictly following MWS procedures and industry best practice.
- Complete and meticulously adhere to detailed risk assessments.

Site management
- Set up and securely dismantle work sites, fully aligned with code of practice.
- Report any damage or defects promptly.

Highway safety & cleanliness
- Undertake works in highways with pedestrians and live traffic.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle, and tooling at all times.

Requirements
How you’ll excel in this role:
- Certified driving license (CleanDrivingCertificate)
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and ability to follow established operational procedures
- Security clearance:
- Water Hygiene Card / Water SHEA / CSCS (or equivalent)
- Streetworks Operative Qualification.
- Emergency First Aid
- Abrasive Wheels
- Manual Handling
