Have you proven your expertise as a Methods Engineer (Work Winning) delivering winning outcomes in the civil engineering construction sector—by translating complex tender requirements into credible engineering solutions?

If you can demonstrate extensive capability in tender preparation, risk assessment and mitigation, detailed project scheduling and resource planning, plus commercial awareness of procurement legislation and contract forms, could you step into a role that’s pivotal to large-scale, high-stakes submissions?

If you enjoy the pressure of tight deadlines, thrive on collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and want to directly influence how programmes, methods and risks are shaped—read on and apply now.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a team built on integrity, accountability, innovation and delivery, where clear communication and continual improvement are expected—not optional. This is an environment for people who take pride in their work, challenge sub-standard performance constructively, and are motivated by delivering value for customers and stakeholders alike. What sets this opportunity apart is the blend of engineering depth with work-winning impact: your thinking will help set direction, strengthen compliance and improve submission quality from start to finish.

The Role

As a Methods Engineer (Work Winning), you will play a key role in preparing and supporting tender submissions for complex civil engineering projects (including underground works). Day to day, you’ll be analysing tender documentation, shaping technical proposals and engineering execution plans, and coordinating inputs across project and business development teams to ensure client requirements are met.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
