MFA Integration Lead – Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist
Remote collaboration with Barclays, based in the Knutsford office
About the Role
Hackajob is collaborating with Barclays to connect them with outstanding professionals for the role of MFA Integration Lead.
Join Barclays as a MFA Integration Lead, bridging Identity and Access Management (IAM) standards with technical delivery. Your role will focus on:
- Articulating multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements to senior stakeholders
- Guiding application teams through the integration journey
- Contributing to a professional network through collaboration with industry mentors and subject-matter experts
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Accountabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to analyse and implement IAM solutions, including:
- Authentication, authorisation, access management
- Single sign-on (SSO) capabilities
- Develop and enforce IAM policies, processes, and standards aligned with security and regulatory compliance
- Execute IAM audits to ensure process adherence and mitigate security risks
- Lead incident investigations for IAM-related breaches, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Stay ahead of emerging IAM trends by engaging with industry networks and fostering best practices

Requirements & Skills
Must-Have Experience & Expertise
✅ Deep knowledge of MFA and authentication integration within modern IAM ecosystems ✅ Ability to translate IAM standards into actionable integration guidance ✅ Proven stakeholder engagement experience with senior leaders and delivery teams
Highly Valued (Bonus Points)
🔹 Large-scale MFA rollout experience, including prioritisation strategies 🔹 Strong cross-functional coordination across security, business, and technical teams 🔹 Familiarity with regulatory remediation and Compliance, Ethics & Policy (CEP) frameworks
