MGA Delivery Manager

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on MGA Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in building, launching and scaling MGAs across our platform, partner network and distribution channels.

This is far more than a traditional project management role. You'll work closely with Account Directors, underwriting, operations, digital teams and external partners to turn commercial opportunities into live products, operationally ready businesses and scalable solutions.

A key aspect of the role is partnering closely with Account Directors. Whilst Account Directors retain ownership of the MGA relationship, commercial strategy and growth agenda, the MGA Delivery Manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the initiatives, projects and operational activities required to bring those plans to life. The role acts as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring opportunities are translated into successful business outcomes. If you're someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, working across multiple stakeholders and seeing initiatives through from concept to launch, this role offers genuine breadth, visibility and impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

Partnering with Account Directors Work alongside Account Directors, who retain overall responsibility for MGA relationships, commercial performance and growth strategies. Act as the delivery and implementation partner to Account Directors, helping turn opportunities, commitments and strategic objectives into completed outcomes. Coordinate and drive the initiatives, projects, onboarding activities and operational changes required to support MGA growth. Provide hands-on support across new MGA launches, product development, broker onboarding, operational improvements and partner implementations. MGA Build, Onboarding & Growth Lead the onboarding and launch of new MGAs, products and schemes. Ensure systems, reporting, operational processes and partner arrangements are in place ahead of launch. Support the onboarding of brokers, capacity providers and distribution partners. Help build scalable MGA businesses that are positioned for long-term growth. Business Delivery & Implementation Take ownership of delivery across a range of business and operational initiatives. Coordinate stakeholders across underwriting, operations, compliance, finance and external partners. Identify and remove blockers to keep delivery on track. Operational Readiness Coordinate all activities required to support successful launches. Ensure processes, documentation, reporting and governance requirements are in place. Ensure operational teams are equipped to support new business from day one. Change & Continuous Improvement Gather business requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes. Work with internal and external suppliers to implement changes effectively. Prioritise enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability and service delivery. Support testing, implementation and adoption of new processes and solutions. Drive continuous improvement across MGA operations and trading performance. Insurance Platform Delivery Deliver change across insurance platforms and policy administration systems including Acturis, Open GI, ICE, Guidewire, Origami or similar. Support product configuration, underwriting rules, workflows and digital trading journeys. Coordinate testing, releases, defect resolution and implementation activities. Identify opportunities to improve automation and straight-through processing. Data, MI & Performance Insight Produce and analyse management information and trading performance data. Monitor submission, conversion, premium and distribution performance. Support Account Directors with insight to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Use data and performance trends to support business planning and decision-making. Qualifications

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
