Job Overview

As a Band 6 clinician the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) provides the ideal environment for you to expand your existing skills.

This service is particularly aimed at offering early intervention to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. MHST's main therapeutic approach is Low Intensity CBT via 1:1 or groups within an education setting.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)

As a registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist OR a registered Low Intensity CBT practitioner (EMHP or CWP) you will work in Educational Settings supporting children, young people, their families and carers to promote best practice. In addition, you will provide clinical supervision and line management to EMHPs and CWPs in the service.

Candidates must evidence in their application that they have completed Low Intensity Supervisor Training (LIST) or be currently undertaking the course.

Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience in delivering supervision and line management of individuals and teams, within the last 12 months.
