MHST Clinical & Team Lead
Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Clinical & Team Lead – Fenland Area
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Clinical & Team Lead to provide clinical oversight and leadership within our Fenland area, based in our Wisbech office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the delivery of evidence-based interventions to support the recovery of young people referred to the service.
- Utilise expertise in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and child and adolescent mental health practice, along with knowledge of Whole School Approaches to mental health and emotional wellbeing.
- Provide clinical leadership for your team of MHSTs.
- Implement a high-quality early intervention service for pupils (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Who We Are Looking For
You must meet the following qualifications and background:
- Qualified and experienced Mental Health Professional with a relevant professional registration.
- Strong background in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Clinical (CBT specialist preferred) and team leadership experience, including:
- Experience in training and guiding junior team members in CBT-informed guided self-help.
- Understanding of MHST models of care within a school-and-college-based framework.

- Each MHST provides mental health and emotional wellbeing support to children/young people and their families and carers through schools and colleges.
- Each team covers a population of ~8,000 young people across a designated geographical locality.
