This role could be based in either our Birmingham, London, Telford, or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

Salary and Benefits:
£70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependant on experience) plus an indicative bonus range of 16-32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days, and much more.

The Role:
This is a great opportunity to join the MI, Forecasting & External Performance team, which acts as a strategic financial adviser to the business, to help understand group performance and make informed decisions. The role will give you the opportunity to support the assessment of our strategy, offering broad exposure across the production of Management Information (MI), forecasts, and performance analysis.

You will use your technical knowledge and commercial acumen to help produce clear, high-quality financial insight that explains key performance drivers, highlights key movements, and supports senior decision-making across the Group. You will combine technical rigour with commercial judgement, working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to ensure financial outputs are accurate, timely, and well understood. This role offers the chance to broaden your technical expertise, enhance your commercial understanding, influence strategic decision-making, and build confidence working with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in the production of high-quality monthly and quarterly MI packs, dashboards, and performance reports for senior finance and group stakeholders.
- Deliver clear, insightful analysis and commentary on MI and forecast results, translating financial performance into key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Work with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Champion continuous improvement across MI and forecasting processes, including opportunities to simplify outputs and improve the quality of insight.
- Build strong working relationships across the business and continue to develop your understanding of financial performance and commercial drivers.

What are we looking for?
- Qualified actuary or accountant with the ability to connect technical outputs to commercial implications
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of key deliverables, challenge inputs, and drive high-quality outputs.
- Strong knowledge of key reporting metrics, including Solvency II, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify key messages, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across teams and presenting complex messages clearly.
- Curiosity to understand what is driving performance and a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, or a similar business partnering role, would be an advantage.
