Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment are working with a highly regarded business to recruit an MI & Regulatory Reporting Lead. This is an important role within the finance function, responsible for producing high-quality management information and regulatory reporting that supports decision-making, strengthens governance, and ensures compliance with internal and external requirements.

The successful candidate will take ownership of reporting delivery and ongoing process improvement, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and insightful. This role would suit an experienced reporting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and regulated environment where quality, consistency, and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the preparation and delivery of management and regulatory reporting, including Monthly Operating Reports, Budgets, FLA, FCA, Board, and senior management packs.
  • Coordinate Board, Committee, Site, and other senior-level reporting packs, ensuring all content is accurate, well-structured, and delivered on time.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather, validate, and reconcile financial data, ensuring reporting is consistent, auditable, and suitable for executive and regulatory use.
  • Monitor KPI performance, analyse variances, assess return metrics, and provide clear insight into trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain dashboards and recurring MI outputs, ensuring senior stakeholders have access to timely and reliable information.
  • Partner with reporting teams across the region to ensure alignment on reporting standards, definitions, controls, and processes.
  • Support and lead reporting enhancements to meet changing business, stakeholder, and regulatory demands.
  • Embed strong quality assurance checks and reporting controls to improve data integrity, resilience, and overall reporting effectiveness.

  • Strong experience in management reporting, regulatory reporting, or financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a real sense of ownership.
  • Experience within a regulated environment would be highly beneficial.
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in improving reporting processes and controls.
