Job Opportunity: Senior MI Analyst (12 month FTC)

GXO is looking for a Senior MI Analyst (12 month FTC) to join us on our flagship M&S Clothing and Home site based in Bradford. Here you will support our customer’s orders fulfilment through providing a suite of management information that builds strong links between the internal and external teams. This information is crucial to enable informed decision making, hence it’s required to be relevant, accurate and timely. This isn’t just another job opportunity… this is a M&S job opportunity!
Job Details
This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Produce management information to the agreed schedule, daily/weekly/monthly for all levels of the business – which then enables stakeholders to provide actionable insight driving strategic and operational decisions
- Design, create and maintain bespoke and ad-hoc reports in line with current operational requirements and project activities - you will gather and analyse data, then adapt it to present in a way that is appropriate for the intended audience
- Build an understanding of our automated warehouse environment and customers’ expectations, whilst maintaining a great working relationship with all on-site teams
- Actively promote a continuous improvement culture within the team, especially around building more efficient MI tools to BAU reporting and projects scoping
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Experience working with large volumes of data from different sources, adapting data to make sure it is fit-for-purpose
- Ability to translate data into visuals and the ability to adapt visualisation depending on the audience
- Confident communication skills, able to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders
- Confident MS Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI (An understanding of SQL would be an advantage but please feel free to apply without this)
