𧍠Weâre hiring: Microbiological Analyst
đ Horsforth, Leeds | Permanent | 37½ hours per week
An excellent opportunity for an experienced microbiologist to join our specialist microbiology testing laboratory in Leeds.
Working as part of a small laboratory team, youâll carry out microbiological testing of wastewater and seawater samples, prepare materials and media, maintain accurate laboratory records, and operate a range of analytical equipment.
Youâll also play an important role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our work, supporting the laboratoryâs compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.

Weâre looking for someone with:
⢠A degree in Microbiology and at least two yearsâ relevant laboratory experience; or substantial practical experience in microbiological testing.
⢠Experience in standard microbiological testing techniques.
⢠Excellent attention to detail.
⢠A reliable, professional, and methodical approach.
⢠The ability to maintain accurate records and work confidently within a laboratory environment.
⢠Experience testing water samples would be an advantage.

Once fully trained, the role will be worked across four days between Tuesday and Saturday.
