Microsoft 365 Technical Lead (Contract) | Cardiff
We're supporting a large financial services organisation on a process automation programme, and they are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Technical Lead to take technical ownership of the M365 environment, lead Power Platform and automation delivery, and act as the key technical liaison between internal teams and a third-party delivery partner.
Responsibilities:
- Own M365 configuration required for automation use cases, ensuring the environment is secure, scalable, and aligned to internal standards.
- Lead the design and enablement of solutions using Power Automate and the Power Platform.
- Support the rollout and enablement of Microsoft 365 Copilot, aligning configuration and use cases to business needs.
- Support delivery of a process automation / RPA proof of concept with a third-party partner.
- Provide technical direction and governance to the external delivery team, validating designs, configurations, and outputs.
- Ensure all solutions meet security, data, and compliance expectations.

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 core services and Power Platform.
- Background in supporting process automation or RPA initiatives.
- Experience providing technical direction to third-party delivery teams.
- Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor and technical lead.
- Good understanding of governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
