About the Role
As an M365 Trainer, you will play a key part in delivering the Council’s Microsoft 365 (M365) Awareness & Training Programme. Working closely with the Senior M365 Trainer and programme team, you will help staff build confidence in everyday use of M365 tools and support consistent, modern ways of working across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a mix of face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
- Run drop-in support sessions for staff.
- Maintain learning materials and provide practical guidance.
- Collaborate with M365 Champions to identify learning needs and promote collaboration/productivity.
Training Scope
- Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint basics
- Features like Planner, Forms, Lists, Stream
- Copilot awareness (aligned with organisational guidance)

About You
You don’t need to be a technical expert, but you must be:
- Experienced in using M365 tools and able to explain them clearly to colleagues at varying experience levels.
- Highly communicative, patient, and supportive in helping staff adopt new ways of working.
- Confident delivering training, answering common queries, and working with champions/key users.

This role requires engagement with council staff, partner organisations, and elected members, so you’ll act as a strong programme ambassador.
