This is a new and exclusive opportunity for an AI Engineer / Azure Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join a thriving STEM business as they grow their AI Engineer / Azure Artificial Intelligence centre of excellence.
About the Role
Title: AI Engineer / Azure Artificial Intelligence Engineer Location: London or Glasgow, with hybrid flexibility (1–2 days in the office per week) Permanent role only Salary: £60,000–£90,000 (dependent on location and experience)
Technical stack:
- Azure AI solutions (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning)
- Python, C#, or Java

Responsibilities & Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in building AI/ML systems, ideally with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, or Azure Machine Learning
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch)
- Deep expertise in:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Vector databases
- Prompt engineering
- Multi-agent systems
- Passion for building from scratch—you thrive in greenfield environments
- Must be based in or near London, with the ability to be onsite 1–2 times per week
