What you'll be doing: We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Presales Lead to shape, drive, and elevate our cloud solution strategy across Azure, M365, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. This is a pivotal role that blends technical depth with commercial influence — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, customer engagement, and solution design. You’ll lead presales engagements, craft compelling solution architectures, and partner closely with sales, delivery, and Microsoft to win and grow strategic opportunities. In addition you will: Lead the Cloud Solutions Practice and manage a team of Cloud Solution Architects. Perform presales activity as required in support of the Presales and Consulting and Sales teams such as attending meetings, writing or contributing to proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, business case materials, cost models. Work closely with our key strategic vendors, primarily Microsoft. Build excellent quality documentation, implementation and migration plans using the input of others as required and spelling out clearly our desire to deliver customer outcomes. Run workshops and meetings in a professional and engaging manner with the achievement of mutually desired solution outcomes. Complete all associated administration, ensuring accurate information is recorded. Develop and deliver technology specific presentations, white board sessions and workshops to both large audience seminars and project workshop environments. Technical ownership of the transfer of a solution design that has been sold into project delivery/managed services/operations and engaging closely with the Lead Architect/Project Manager/Infrastructure Leads and retaining a close relationship with the customer. We want to hear from you if you: Have excellent technical and commercial understanding in creation of technology solutions and outcomes for customers. Can demonstrate proven experience in architecting and being involved with implementing a broad range of technology solutions related to Azure Cloud. Have experience in owning and contributing to proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, business cases, cost models and leading the review process. Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling the presentation of complex technical solutions. Have experience in a customer facing consultancy focused organisation Can demonstrate experience working with both architectural principles and project delivery methodologies including fundamentals of project management.
