About This Role
As the Product Owner for the Property Accounting areas of our YAVICA products, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering and prioritising product requirements
- Ensuring alignment with business goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality software solution
Your responsibilities will encompass financial modules including:
- Accounts payable & receivable
- General ledger
- Financial reporting
- Tax accounting, loans & treasury
- Modelling & revenue recognition
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A strong understanding of finance and accounting
- Experience with Dynamics Finance & Operations
- A desire to create value-driven solutions for property finance teams
Key Responsibilities
Product Direction & Prioritisation
- Work closely with the Product Manager to understand:
- Product vision
- Customer requirements
- Feature priorities
Backlog Management
- Maintain the product backlog, ensuring:
- Features are captured, clearly articulated, and status-tracked accurately
- Items reflect current priorities
Functional Design & Collaboration
- Conceptualise and produce functional designs, including:
- Diagrams
- Market-ups
- Supporting documentation
- Engage with customers & stakeholders to:
- Ensure designs meet requirements
- Capture feedback effectivel
- Keep stakeholders informed

- Stay updated on the latest Microsoft features
- Evaluate and make evidence-based recommendations
Cross-Team Alignment
- Collaborate with other product owners to:
- Align features across teams
- Ensure quality & consistency against delivery standards
- Obtain peer reviews and endorse solution designs
Technical & Development Integration
- Work with technical architects to:
- Align technical and functional designs
- Collaborate with developers to:
- Clarify acceptance criteria
- Answer technical or functional questions
- Make real-time decisions during feature implementation
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Ensure product quality by:
- Defining acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and test cases with Junior Product Owners & testers
- Providing support for manual and automated test environments
- Perform acceptance testing of delivered features
- Participate in:
- Defect triage
- Validation & resolution
- Support training materials and documentation to be accurate and up-to-date
Requirements & Skills
The perfect candidate will have:
- A qualification in:
- Computer Science
- Accounting
- Business, or a relevant field
Domain Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Real Estate
- Property Management
- Property Accounting processes or software
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations familiarity
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication to:
- Articulate functional designs
- Collaborate with stakeholders
- Align teams on deliverables
Design & User-Centric Thinking
- Familiarity with:
- UI/UX standards
- Usability & user experience
- User-centric design principles
