We're looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Microsoft Power Platform Developer in the ICT & Digital Transformation Team. The ICT & Digital Transformation team mission is to provide digital systems that are customer focused, easy to use, reliable, flexible, and meet the needs of all our stakeholders.
About The Role
The successful candidate will help develop, deliver and implement innovative Microsoft 365, Power Platform and AI solutions that improve colleague efficiency and support better outcomes for our customers.
As part of the Power Platform Development team, you will work to design, build, test, deploy and support business solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and emerging technologies, including AI.
You'll support digital transformation by delivering secure, scalable and user-focused solutions that automate processes, increase productivity and make better use of organisational data.
About You
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online and AI related tools, with the ability to develop secure, scalable and customer-focused digital solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Power Platform development standards, with a strong focus on best practices.
- A collaborative approach - keen to work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, resolve technical issues, and be a general team player.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment

- Proficiency across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 suite - particularly SharePoint, Forms, Teams, and Dataverse
You may also need to collaborate with suppliers where necessary to drive change.
By applying an agile approach to product development, you will engage with the relevant stakeholders in the planning and requirement stages along with documenting and handing over to support.

Key Details
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer - Fixed term role for two years
- Salary is £53,197 per annum
- Contractual Location to be agreed with the candidate at one of our main offices in Gosforth or Stanley, although we work flexibly.
- Regular travel will be required
- 37 hours per week with agile
