St Marie's Catholic Primary School
Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor. This role will be based at St Marie's Catholic Primary School. This is a part-time position, working 6.25 hours per week, on a term time only basis (38 weeks per year).
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare the dining area for lunch, including setting out chairs and tables
- Supervise toileting and washroom activities.
- Escort children to and from the dining room.
- Supervise the collection of meals and assist pupils with the use of cutlery.
- Assist pupils with returning used plates, trays, cutlery, and glasses/beakers, as well as clearing tables.
- Supervise pupils eating packed lunches and ensure all equipment is cleared away.
- Oversee classroom and outdoor activities, encouraging inclusion and positive interaction.
- Ensure an orderly return to the classroom after lunch.
- Attend to minor accidents or pupils who feel unwell, providing care as needed.
- Report to the Senior Midday Supervisor (SMDS) if an accident occurs or a pupil becomes ill.
- Monitor pupil behaviour and intervene as necessary, in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
- Inform the SMDS of any breaches of school rules.
