Mid–Senior Freelance Interior Designer
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Rate: £250 - £350 per day
Duration: 6 months +
The Role
A leading luxury hospitality group is expanding its in-house design team and is looking for a mid-weight to senior interior designer to join on a full-time freelance basis.
With an international portfolio of high-end hotels and significant investment into upcoming renovation projects, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping the brand’s next design chapter.
You’ll work closely with the Design Director in a collaborative, high-end studio environment, delivering exceptional hospitality spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 2–3 projects independently from concept through to completion
- Produce detailed technical drawings & specification packs
- Manage on-site coordination with contractors and suppliers
- Contribute to styling, photoshoots, and OS&E sourcing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and internal teams
- Deliver 5-star luxury hospitality environments

What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in interior design
- Strong background in luxury residential or hospitality
Technical Skills
- Proven ability to run projects end-to-end
- Strong technical detailing and documentation skills
- Confident managing suppliers and procurement processes

Details
- Rate: £250–£350/day (DOE)
- Location: Central London (Victoria)
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (min. 3 days in studio, ideally 5)
- Hours: 9am–6pm (flexible)
- Reporting to: Design Director
