Support Staff (Inclusion Support Worker) – Special Educational Needs (SEN) School

About the School: Alfreton Park is a lively, successful day special school catering to pupils aged 2 to 19 years with severe and profound learning difficulties. We hold extremely high expectations for all children, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion, ensuring each pupil accomplishments aligns with their potential.
About the Role
You will provide personalised support in key areas, ensuring the holistic care and development of our pupils:
- Assisting with eating and personal hygiene
- Leading play activities to stimulate engagement and learning
- Maintaining safety and welfare for all pupils

Requirements
- Experience in a special needs setting is desirable—though new but passionate applicants will be considered.
- Familiarity with educational environments is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team in an inclusive school framework.
- Eager to learn and adapt to each pupil’s individual needs, often in unexpected ways.
