Salary: £12.85-£13.05 per hour

Hours of work: 3.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

A bit about us:

We are looking for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join us at Broad Chalke C of E Primary School. This can be part of a job share, please specify which day/s you would be able to work on your application form.

All about the role:

  • Safeguard children during the lunchtime period
  • Setting up the school hall ready for lunchtime
  • Clearing and tidying away after lunch
  • Distributing/helping children with their lunches
  • Encouraging positive play and interaction among the children
  • Administer basic first aid when required

You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team
  • Have effective communication skills
  • Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines
  • Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies
