Hours of work: 5 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: until March 2027.

We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to join our happy and popular school. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that our children enjoy a happy, safe and positive lunchtime experience. The role will involve supervising children whilst eating their lunch and outside at play time.
The hours are 12:00-1:00 Monday-Friday (5 hours per week) with a start date of Monday 28th September.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and values their wellbeing
- Is patient, nurturing and approachable
- Can support positive behaviour effectively
- Works well as part of a team
St Philip’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018.
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
