About the Role

The Senior Leadership Team of Rood End Primary are looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and efficient Midday Supervisory Assistant to work as part of our team. The appointed person must enjoy working with children and want to work as part of an enthusiastic team to ensure that dinner-times are meaningful and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be physically fit to work in a busy school environment.
  • Use their own initiative and be proactive and conscientious.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Have the patience to work with young children.
  • Be a good communicator and be able to communicate in English.
  • Enjoy working with and managing children.
  • Will be able to take part in and support play activities in the Playground.
  • Support children in the Dining Hall, promoting our school values at all times.
  • Have practical ability in cleaning.
  • To be reliable, punctual, and have excellent attendance.
  • Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job tasks.
  • Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.

Reporting Structure

The successful candidate will be responsible to the Business Manager via the Senior Supervisory Assistants.

  • Hours: 11.25 hours per week. 11:35am to 1:50pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
  • Grade: Grade B, SCP 4 (£25,185 p.a.) - Actual Salary £6,685 - £6,774 p.a.
  • Location: Rood End Primary School, Rood End Road, Oldbury, West Midlands, B68 8SQ
