Middle Office Analyst
London | Full Time | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits
We are working with a leading global financial markets firm to appoint a Middle Office Analyst to join its London Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 to 5 years of Middle Office, Trade Support or Operations experience who wants exposure to a broad range of asset classes while working closely with traders, institutional clients, and global counterparties.
The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting front office trading activity across Interest Rate Swaps, FX, Fixed Income, and Listed Derivatives, ensuring trades are processed accurately from execution through to settlement.
You'll work in a fast-paced environment, partnering with trading desks, clients, banks, and prime brokers while helping to maintain the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the full trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes
- Perform trade validation, reconciliation, and investigate exceptions
- Monitor trades from execution through to settlement
- Act as a key operational contact for institutional clients
- Liaise with banks and prime brokers on settlements, margin, and operational queries
- Manage cash reconciliations and monitor funding requirements
- Track derivative contract expiries and coordinate with trading teams
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and reduce trade breaks
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of Middle Office, Trade Support, or Financial Markets Operations experience
- Strong knowledge of FX, Interest Rate Swaps, Fixed Income, and Listed Derivatives
- Experience working with institutional clients, brokers, banks, or prime brokers
- Strong Excel skills and experience with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, MarkitWire, or Murex
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with global stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving trading environment
- Previous experience within a brokerage, interdealer broker, or trading environment would be highly advantageous
