Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Operations / Middle Office Analyst to join our London team. This is a full-time, fully on-site role, supporting the day-to-day running of the firm’s middle office and operations function.

What you will do

  • Support daily cash management processes across client portfolios and accounts
  • Capture, process, and book equity, fixed income, fund, and FX trades
  • Liaise with brokers and global custodians to ensure timely trade settlement and query resolution
  • Perform reconciliation, investigation, and resolution of stock and cash positions
  • Assist with corporate actions processing and monitoring
  • Support client reporting and the preparation of portfolio-related materials
  • Assist with portfolio performance calculations and analysis
  • Support the calculation and review of management fees
  • Analyse, maintain, and help develop the firm’s portfolio management systems and operational processes
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from internal teams, including investment, client relationship, and finance functions

What you will need

  • 6–12 months of experience in a similar operations, middle office, or investment support role is preferred, ideally within an investment management or financial services firm
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and discretion, given the high profile of the firm’s clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is essential
  • A keen interest in investment management, financial markets, and operational processes

Other information

  • Location: Mayfair / St James’s, London
  • Salary: commensurate with experience, plus a discretionary year-end bonus
  • Benefits: 23 days’ annual leave, company pension scheme, Cycle2Work scheme
  • Hours: Standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility required
  • Working arrangement: This is a fully on-site role
  • Contract: Permanent position, subject to a 3-month probationary period
