Candidates will ideally have strong middle office / fund operations experience within asset management, alongside a track record of leading and improving operational processes
Due to exciting business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the middle office and operations function for an established specialist investment manager. Focused on alternative and sustainable strategies across public and private markets, the firm manages capital on behalf of institutional investors, wealth managers, financial advisers, family offices, charities and endowments, and continues to grow both its assets and its international footprint.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business. Reporting into senior management, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the middle office while driving the process, technology and automation improvements that will support the firmâs next phase of growth. You will manage relationships with third-party providers and mandate clients, and lead and develop a small team. Please note, this is a busy, fast-paced role, so we are seeking experienced candidates who are proactive and able to make an immediate impact.

Iâm in my final year doing Economics and I donât know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer â it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donât need a masters. Letâs look at the ones youâd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
