About SGK and SGS & Co

SGK and SGS & Co have built an impressive roster in creative, strategy, digital commerce, experiential marketing, engineering, and creative content production—bringing together the incredible talent of 2,300 agency professionals. This collective expertise will come together under Marks, a Next-Gen Creative Platform built to thrive in today's global and local cultural conversations. Equator will continue to play an important role as an agency within Marks.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Midweight Designer to join our talented team. This is a hybrid role based in our Birmingham studio to work primarily on packaging design for one of the world’s leading toy manufacturers.

The packaging needs to inspire the shopper’s imagination to build and play, so we are looking for someone who is a strong storyteller who can create compelling concepts.

You will be a valuable player in the Design Team, building your expertise across brand design, typography, illustration, photography, finishes, and print processes. You’ll be delivering great work to the brief time after time. You’ll also be growing in creative confidence, outwardly presenting your ideas with conviction and clear rationale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
