About The Role:

The Crowd have partnered with a boutique, luxury interior design studio that are known for their elegant, timeless and opulent prime high-end residential projects. Their wonderful, collaborative and down-to-earth team are now looking for a Mid/Senior Interior Designer to work on a range of projects in London, Europe and internationally.

The ideal candidate would have previously worked on prime high-end residential projects from concept design, client consultation to liaising with external consultants and have a good understanding of local suppliers. This is a pivotal role to work in tandem with a team of juniors and mid-weight designers, offering mentorship and guidance and day-to-day delivery of projects.

This is a great opportunity for a personable, charismatic and kind individual who is eager to grow within the interior design industry amongst a brilliant team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently deliver pitches and presentations
  • Inspire the team with fresh ideas, sourcing new furniture and art, and driving creativity in the studio
  • Lead bespoke projects from concept to completion
  • Design and budget FF&E projects, ensuring alignment with project briefs
  • Develop design elements on large-scale projects including bespoke joinery and technical drawings
  • Establish detailed project timelines, leading kick-off, and wrap-up meetings at each design phase
  • File weekly project status reports and monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Review and approve FF&E designs, furniture plans, and pricing on major projects, ensuring alignment with budgets

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or any relevant degree is essential for the role.
  • At least 5 years within the industry is preferable
  • Prior experience in project and team management
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and high-end project execution
  • Strong client and supplier relationship skills
  • Efficient project tracking and workflow management
  • Self-reliant and confident in leading small projects
  • Knowledgeable in FF&E procurement and technical design
