About This Role
As a Midweight Art Director at Ogilvy Health, you’ll be the creative force behind original, impactful visual ideas that resonate with healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers. Collaborating closely with copywriters, creative teams, and cross-functional experts, you’ll thrive at the intersection of advertising, BR, and health, crafting unifying, engaging multidisciplinary concepts that simplify complex science for the masses.
You’ll drive work across digital, social, and scientific fields—from interactive campaigns to medical education—supporting clients and teams in delivering world-class healthcare marketing. Fresh thinking and proactive pitches with bold ideas are encouraged. Showcase your work in your portfolio!
Your Impact
- Develop and refine strong visual concepts & campaigns under Creative Directors’ guidance.
- Execute projects efficiently, on-brief, and on-time, ensuring quality in every detail.
- Translate complex medical data, insights, and scientific jargon into clear, engaging visual storytelling.
- Collaborate seamlessly with strategy, medical writers, account services, and production teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, digital innovations, and platform capabilities to inspire ahead-of-the-curve thinking.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring: ✔ Proven experience as a creative professional within Healthcare Marketing/Advertising, demonstrating your ability to translate complex ideas for medical audiences. ✔ A stand-out portfolio illustrating:
- Strong conceptual thinking and uniqueness of vision.
- Pristine execution in design, composition, and visual language.
- Multi-disciplinary experience in health, wellness, or pharma. ✔ The ability to think beyond the brief—culminating in innovative, strategic visual ideas that thrive across digital, social, and print. ✔ A positive, collaborative spirit, empowering others while thriving in team-centric environments. ✔ Exceptional design and art direction skills, with a keener eye for detail, typography, layout, and narrative pacing. ✔ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Ps, Il, In), with a bonus for skills in Premiere/After Effects. ✔ A practical understanding of production pipelines—planting awareness of budget constraints and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ABPI code). ✔ The knack for distilling dense medical insights into crystal-clear visual messaging, enhancing both scientific integrity and public impact.
