What You'll Do

As the Midweight Designer at Sainsbury's Zest in-house creative agency, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising, shaping, and delivering innovative concepts for brands such as Argos, Habitat, Sainsbury's, and Tu. Your responsibilities will include developing design briefs from ideation to execution, ensuring strategic alignment with insights, exceptional craftsmanship, and customer-centricity. Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, you will lead design projects across multiple channels, from in-store POS to digital design, exhibiting design excellence and consistency with brand guidelines. Your role will involve managing multiple projects, staying abreast of design trends, fostering partnerships, and contributing to a creative culture that drives results and elevates the creative output of Zest.

Who You Are

As a Midweight Designer for Sainsbury's Zest in-house creative agency, you are a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for delivering innovative and insight-driven concepts across multi-channel platforms. With a strong eye for detail and design excellence, you excel in crafting high-quality outputs that align strategically with customer insights and brand guidelines. Your collaborative nature, effective communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment make you an essential member of the team, driving creative excellence and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elevate the creative output and achieve business objectives.


Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as a Midweight Designer delivering creative work from concept through to final execution.
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality, insight-led creative across multiple channels.
  • Experience working across integrated campaigns (e.g. digital, social, in-store POS, print).
  • Demonstrable experience interpreting briefs and developing creative solutions aligned to strategic and customer insights.
  • Experience working with established brands and applying brand guidelines consistently.
