About The Role
We’re looking for a Midweight UX Digital Designer to join our growing team. You’ll work across a range of digital projects for retail and financial services clients, including new websites, complex decision-based journeys and ongoing optimisation work. You’ll help produce original ideas in response to creative briefs, design websites and digital journeys, and contribute to conversion-focused (CRO) solutions that balance strong visual craft with usability, performance and commercial impact.
You’ll be comfortable owning design tasks end-to-end, collaborating closely with UX designers, developers and QA, and supporting the overall creative output of the agency through high-quality, thoughtful design work.
This role is ideal for a designer who’s moved beyond junior execution and is ready to take more ownership, while still keen to learn, refine their craft and grow within a design-led, CRO-aware agency environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing websites, landing pages and digital journeys across a range of clients and industries
- Creating clean, intuitive UI designs with strong attention to layout, typography and visual hierarchy
- Translating UX thinking and wireframes into polished, high-fidelity designs
- Delivering pixel-perfect assets on time and to brief
- Delivering and maintaining high-quality artwork for ongoing, high-volume consumer-facing digital products, promotions and optimisation activity
- Working within and contributing to design systems and component libraries
- Designing mobile-first, responsive experiences
- Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are feasible, accessible and build-ready
- Supporting CRO-led design work, including iteration, optimisation and testing
- Supporting client presentations and preparing presentation decks for external use, including concepts and case studies
- Leading and contributing to design research activities, including competitor analysis, journey reviews and insight gathering
- Understanding user problems and business challenges, and translating them into clear, usable and creative design solutions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
