About The Role

We’re looking for a bright, organised and detail-loving Midweight Packaging Artworker to join our creative and packaging team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in artwork and print who is excited to keep learning, developing and building their career within a fast-moving skincare brand. You’ll have a genuine interest in beautifully considered packaging, natural skincare and the small details that bring a brand to life.

You’ll work across both primary and secondary packaging, creating, amending, checking and preparing artwork for production. From new product launches to brand updates, you’ll collaborate with our Creative, NPD, Regulatory and Supply teams to ensure every piece of packaging is accurate, compliant, consistent and beautifully finished.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, positive and happy to get stuck in. You’ll enjoy the precision of technical artwork while also bringing energy, fresh thinking and a collaborative spirit to the team. You don’t need to know everything from day one, but you should be keen to ask questions, take feedback on board and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and amend packaging artwork across primary and secondary packaging, ensuring all files are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Prepare precise, print-ready files for production, supplier approval, and final artwork release
  • Implement EPD regulatory updates, ingredient changes, system codes, copy updates, barcodes, symbols, and technical information across relevant packaging assets
  • Check artwork carefully for accuracy, layout consistency, spelling, formatting, technical compliance, cutter guides, print specifications, and supplier requirements
  • Manage artwork across multiple formats, SKUs, markets, and packaging components while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Support artwork version control, ensuring the latest files are clearly labelled, traceable, and easy for internal teams and external partners to access
  • Maintain organised file structures across working files, approved artwork, supplier proofs, print-ready files, and archived versions, with all changes recorded and communicated clearly
  • Liaise with packaging suppliers, printers, and production partners to resolve artwork queries, review technical requirements, and support smooth artwork approval
  • Review supplier proofs and technical feedback, making amendments where required and escalating issues when needed
  • Support physical sample reviews, checking colour, finish, alignment, print quality, substrate, and overall execution, providing clear feedback to suppliers
  • Support artwork changes, product updates, and wider branding refresh projects, working confidently from initial design handover through to final print completion
  • Collaborate with creative, product, regulatory, marketing, and operations teams to ensure artwork is delivered on time and to the required standard
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in packaging artwork processes, systems, templates, and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a detail-driven artworker who combines technical precision with a refined creative eye - someone who understands that packaging artwork is not just about making files print-ready, but about protecting the integrity of the brand, the accuracy of the product information, and the quality of the final customer experience.

  • Strong experience in packaging artwork, ideally within skincare, beauty, wellness, FMCG, luxury goods, or a similarly detail-led brand environment
  • Confident creating and amending artwork for both primary packaging (bottles, jars, tubes, labels, pouches, sachets) and secondary packaging (cartons, sleeves, boxes, inserts, gift packaging)
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of print production: cutter guides, bleed, trapping, overprint, spot colours, varnishes, foils, embossing, finishes, substrates, and print-ready file preparation
  • Experience working with packaging suppliers, printers, proofs, and technical artwork specifications
  • Comfortable handling packaging compliance content such as INCI ingredient listings, symbols, claims, barcodes, and component system codes
  • Highly organised, with strong file management and version control habits, able to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining accuracy
  • Methodical and meticulous, with strong problem-solving skills and the judgement to know when to ask for help
  • Process-aware but adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • A clear, concise communicator who engages constructively with creatives, suppliers, printers, and internal teams — bringing thoughtful input rather than passive agreement
  • Positive and resilient, staying calm and focused under deadlines and pressure
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, listens to feedback, and applies it constructively
  • A genuine team player with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn and improve

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a thoughtful, collaborative environment and who is excited by natural skincare, beautiful packaging, considered design, and the craft of bringing products to life.
