SC Cleared Migration Engineer - Intune
Location: Central London, onsite full time
Duration: 3 Months
Rate: £240 per day
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Migration Engineer to support a short-term laptop deployment project. This role is critical to delivering a smooth and efficient rollout of new devices across the organisation, ensuring minimal disruption to end users while maintaining strict adherence to IT standards and security policies. You will be responsible for the end-to-end provisioning, configuration, and deployment of laptops, working closely with IT teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines. This is a hands-on, onsite role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage high-volume rollout activities effectively.
Requirements:
- Need to hold current, Active SC Clearance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for device provisioning and management.
- Experienced in building, configuring & deploying laptops/desktops in line with corporate standards.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 11), builds, configurations & application installs.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure devices are compliant and ready for user deployment.
- Coordinate and schedule device handovers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for users.
- Transfer user data and settings where required to minimise disruption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware & software issues during deployment and rollout activities.
- Maintain accurate asset records and update IT inventory management systems.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Proven experience supporting high-volume laptop and desktop deployment programmes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and end-user environments.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Comfortable working onsite in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
